Dr. Rodney R. Gay, Ph.D. Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Rodney Gay is a recognized expert in the field of power plant performance. Dr. Gay received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in 1975. He served as founder and president of Enter Software, Inc. from 1988 until the company was sold to General Electric in 1999. He remained as president of GE Enter Software for two years, then left GE to become a writer and engineering consultant.

While with Enter Software, Dr. Gay managed the development of the GateCycle computer code for heat balance analysis of electric power plants, and the EfficiencyMap software for on-line performance monitoring of operating power plants. His book "Power Plant Performance Monitoring" describes the analytic methods used in these software applications. Dr. Gay is the author of US patent 6591225 on the economic performance optimization of combined-cycle power plants; rights to the patent are owned by General Electric Co.

DR. MICHAEL NAKHAMKIN, Ph.D., P.E. Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Michael Nakhamkin, PE is well recognized as a leader in the power-generation industry in the US and worldwide. He holds fourteen (14) US and worldwide patents and authored over seventy (70) technical publications and books. The fourteen patents include five patents on the Air Injection Technology (AIT) for the Power Augmentation of the Combustion Turbine/Combined Cycle Power Plants, Five Patents Covering various Aspects of the Compressed Air Energy Storage Technology (CAES), Two Patents on Cascaded Humidified Advanced Turbine (CHAT) technology, and Patents for The Hybrid Concept for Distributed Power Generation (HCDG) and for Small Compressed Air Energy Storage (SCAES) concept for Distributed Power generation.

Dr. M. Nakhamkin's technologies were licensed and successfully implemented for the first in the USA at the110 MW CAES plant for the Alabama Electric Cooperative (1988-1991). Dr. Nakhamkin and ESPC, Inc. conducted technical supervision of project including the plant optimization, equipment specification, all required R&D developments, created operating computer models, supervised acceptance tests and monitored the plant operations over three years after commissioning.

Dr. M. Nakhamkin is the Founder and President of Energy Systems & Power Consultants, LLC since 1987 and prior to that he held Variety of Supervising Positions with Gibbs&Hill, Inc, Architect Engineering Company, serving since 1984 in the Position of the Chief Engineer of Advanced Technology.

Registered Professional Engineer in New York and Alabama, Member of ASME since 1979, He is Recipient of a Number of Achievement Awards.
